Our Brittish Rabbi, Rebecca Qassim
Birk returns to Stockholm.
The theme for the weekend: Empathy and History: Growing
into our Stories
With her, are four young people (age
15) and their teacher from Rebecca's congregation, Finchley
Progressive Synagogue in London. They are making this
trip to Stockholm as part of their post bar/bat mitzvah
education.
Friday afternoon, they go to meet
students at Vasa Real before joining us in our Kabbat
Shabbat.
FRIDAY,
NOVEMBER 11
6 pm i Sessionssalen
Kabalat shabbat
with a short service and
kiddush.
After which, Rabbi Rebecca Birk leads us in conversation
about "Names and Naming and Personal Blessing"
Afterwards join us in our traditional
PJS Potluck dinner.

09.15 - Services in the Great Synogogue
Rabbi Rebecca Birk will give the sermon and
comment on this week's Torah portion.
After the joint kiddush join us for:

12.15 pm– 1.15 pm in the Wallenbergrummet
Rabbi Birk leads the discussion.
Theme: Aggadah and Haggadah
